With this visa you can
- You can study in Australia with eligible courses.
- you can travel in and out of Australia
- you can work up to 48 hours a fortnight when your course of study or training is in session. If you are studying for master’s degree by research or Doctoral degree have no work hour limits.

You must
- You can apply online in or outside Australia
- be registered in a course of study in Australia.
- You must take/hold Overseas Student Health Cover (OSHC), or fall in one of the exemption categories.
- If the applicant under 18 you need to prove you have a welfare arrangement
- Applicant must be 6 years or older
- If the applicant in Australia hold an eligible substantive visa. See, in Eligibility Tab. Note:
- If you hold A substantive visa it will ceases to be in effect if another substantive visa is Approved.
